Day by Day Itinearary:
Day 1: Airport Pick-up
Today you will be picked-up at the Guadalajara airport upon arrival and transferred to your accommodation. Get settled in and then enjoy free time for the rest of the day to explore the city on your own. Have dinner on your own and if you are in a party mood, go out tonight to a popular club or local bar. Overnight in Guadalajara.
Day 2: Tequila Day Tour
Discover one of the most outstanding visits of this city. Meet and marvel at the blue agave fermentation and distillation process.
We begin our tour with a visit to the Agave fields called “Buenos Aires” of Mundo Cuervo, in which we will witness a demonstration of the traditional jima of the agave. To continue with our arrival at the emblematic magical town of Tequila, where we will know the process of making this spiritual drink in the facilities of “La Rojeña”, the oldest factory in Latin America. During this tour you will taste the rich cooked agave, you will taste the first tequila distillation and finally you will enjoy this drink ready for commercialization. Then you can enjoy free time in the town of Tequila, whether to visit its shops full of different brands of tequila, to eat something typical in the Cleofas Mota Market or, in a picturesque restaurant in Tequila, Jalisco.
We conclude at the meeting point indicated by the guide and we undertake our return.
Day 3: Tlaquepaque Day Tour
Today you will be picked-up from your accommodation to be transferred to visit the magnificent architecture of Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque beautiful handicrafts on a 5-hour sightseeing tour. You will stop at major sites in the historic center of Guadalajara, full of colonial buildings as Plaza de Armas, where the Cathedral twin towers of Guadalajara are located, the neoclassical Degollado Theater, Plaza de la Rotonda, and the enormous Mercado Libertad, also known as San Juan de Dios Market, one of the biggest traditional markets of Mexico. You will see local vendors selling everything from products, traditional sweets and flowers, carpets, clothing and leather goods in more than 2,600 stalls.
Continue the trip travelling by air-conditioned minivan to nearby Tlaquepaque, a small colonial town just 4 miles (7 kilometers) southeast of downtown Guadalajara. Stroll through the narrow cobbled streets and admire the beautiful architecture, or buy a traditional meal and tasty drink for lunch (on your own). You will also have the opportunity to visit Tlaquepaque craft markets, where you can find Mexican wood carvings, pottery, ceramics and leather goods. After the tour you will be dropped-off back at your accommodation. Overnight in Guadalajara.
Day 4: Airport Drop-off
Today your trip will come to an end as you check out of your hotel and are transferred back to the Guadalajara airport in time to take your return flight. Your trip will come to an end with great memories of unforgettable experiences.
